There is no risk and no investment needed; all that is required of you is to apply for membership in the publisher network and keep your custom website up to date for your players and fans. Once you are accepted as a publisher on the RSM Sports Media network, your website will be tagged to enable the display of ads through the ad server. When an advertiser launches a new campaign on your website you have the right to refuse the campaign if, for any reason, you don't want it to appear on your website.
RSM Sports Media will negotiate advertising contracts with a wide range of companies on behalf of our publishers network. The consolidation of publishers allows for larger contracts and further reach for advertisers (and thus more profit for publishers). Advertisers will choose which of the publishers they would like to advertise to in order to best suit their needs. If an advertiser selects your website, their ad(s) will be placed on your website via RSM Sports Media's ad server and your website's traffic will immediately begin to turn into cash. There is no risk and no investment required by you in becoming a publisher on RSM Sports Media's network.
Depending on the agreement between an advertiser and RSM Sports Media, the money your organization earns via its website may be determined by CPM (an amount for every thousand times an advertisement is shown) or CPC (an amount for every time a browser clicks on an advertisement). Fifty percent (50%) of all revenues generated by advertisements on your website go directly to your organization to spend as it sees fit. The remaining 50% covers RSM Sports Media's corporate overhead costs including hosting, ad serving software, campaign management and sales commissions.
There are a number of other money making opportunities available to your organization that do not involve advertisements on your website. These include: admission ticket advertising, score sheet advertising, scouting package advertising, program advertising, venue signage (banners, rink boards), in game promotions and booth rentals (product sampling, direct sales).
